They will also give music lessons to youths of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a highlight of the 5th Golden Jazz Summer Camp that will form an important part of the music week.

The first Hengqin Cup Jazz Competition will let contestants who survived an online audition compete before local audiences.

Nearly 60 musicians in 14 famous jazz bands from nine countries and regions will perform. For instance, the Niccolò Faraci Trio is expected to ignite a range of reactions from frenzied delight to more subtle appreciation at the Kuayue New Generation Music Festival, also on the roster. The trio will integrate different genres of musical styles and offer its own combination of opera and jazz in new arrangements. The festival was named to the 2018 list of key projects for Belt & Road cultural trade and investment.

The music week is sponsored by Zhuhai Golden Jazz Cultural Industry Management and Zhuhai Da Heng Qin Culture & Media.
