China's first hotel promoting immersive marine science for family vacationers, Chimelong Marine Science Hotel, opened Jan 30 at Chimelong International Ocean Resort in Hengqin New Area.

The hotel's 1,250 accommodations include Indian and Arctic ocean guestrooms, Pacific Ocean Resort rooms, Atlantic Ocean family lodgings, and Polar Bear and Captain's suites.

The lobby contains a yellow submarine with LED screens and a periscope to simulate real deep-ocean scenarios with dynamic effects, magical mirror for marine science education, and holographic projections of a silver beach and various marine creatures.

In addition, the gymnasium on the 27th floor offers dominant sea views. A 270-degree circular infinity pool with constant temperature will open soon on the 28th floor as an ideal spot to appreciate fireworks, sunsets, whale and shark projections, and the entire resort.
