Zhuhai's Fisher Maiden statue is included on a commemorative stamp in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

The stamp, which will be released July 1 by China Post Group, is titled Opening to the Outside World. It is dominated by Shenzhen's Ploughing Bull sculpture and shows Shanghai's Nanpu Bridge as well as scenes of the Zhuhai, Xiamen, and Shantou special economic zones. With red and gold as the dominant colors, it is styled as a realistic oil painting. A red ribbon through the stamp signifies the glorious path taken by the CPC over the past century.

The associated envelope is printed with the Party emblem; gold Chinese characters stating "Stay True to the Party's Original Aspiration and the Founding Mission;" official logo for events to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC; and Ode to the Great Wall, a large mural lacquer painting at the Museum of the CPC.

Each set contains 20 commemorative stamps and one envelope. They will be on sale across Zhuhai starting July 1, along with the first-day covers, standard and long-scroll stamp folders, and stamp albums focusing on the anniversary.
