Xinqing Science & Technology Industrial Park
A satellite branch of the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Xinqing Science & Technology Industrial Park was founded on March 5, 1999.
Located in Zhuhai's Doumen District, the industrial park neighbors Zhongshan to the east and Jiangmen to the north. A one- to two-hour drive from Guangzhou or Shenzhen, it is 48 nautical miles from Hong Kong. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, which opened in 2018, further accentuates its transportation advantages.
Covering 8.86 sq km (3.42 sq miles), the park is divided into 2.86 sq km eastern and 6 sq km western sections.
The east part focuses on high-end service and high-tech industries while also fostering sci-tech innovation and incubation, software design, cultural-creative, headquarters economy, and other emerging industries. Led by Flex International, which has 50,000 employees, are more than 230 electronic information and support enterprises producing more than 120 kinds of electronic products. It is one of the largest electronic information industry production bases in the province.
The west is committed to electronic information, new-energy, new materials, and high-end manufacturing. It is planned as a demonstration zone in Guangdong Province for the transformation and upgrade of the electronic information industry, city-industry integration, and sustainable development.
The industrial park contains more than 500 domestically and internationally renowned enterprises including 12 high-tech enterprises and seven provincial high-tech enterprise cultivation warehouses. Among them are Flex, Hansen Technology, Inat Electronics, DigitalOptics Corp, and Ensai Electronics.
