Designed as an all-new, leading, professional event, AERO Asia will focus on the latest technology, achievements, and products in the general aviation sector. It is expected to promote cutting-edge sci-tech exchanges and cooperation, and serve the booming general aviation industry in Asia as a whole. The Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) announced support for the event as it wants to offer 139 members new and exciting business opportunities.
Ludwig Meier, chairman of Messe Friedrichshafen's Shanghai branch, said, "The location and infrastructure are perfect for an aviation show and Zhuhai is well-known in the industry. Additionally, it is a perfect hub for Southeast Asia." AERO is held by Messe Friedrichshafen annually in Friedrichshafen, Germany as a general aviation business show with over 40 years of experience.
The Zhuhai event has been described as a completely new and perfect complement to the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition. The air shows will alternate hosting events at Zhuhai Airshow Center in Jinwan District. Airshow China was postponed from last November due to the coronavirus pandemic and held Sept 28 to Oct 3 this year instead.
