CosMx of Doumen, Ecare of Jinwan praised for research
Zhuhai CosMX Battery and Ecare Electronics Science & Technology each earned a second prize Nov 3 at the 2020 State Scientific & Technological Progress Awards in Beijing.
CosMX was cited for contributions to "Key Technology & Industrial Application of High Reliability Long-Life Lithium-Ion Batteries" together with the Harbin Institute of Technology, Shanghai Institute of Space Power-Sources, and Coslight Group. The project met a national challenge in improving the life and reliability of high-end lithium-ion batteries and in providing remarkable economic and social benefits.
One of the world's largest lithium-ion battery suppliers, CoxMx was established in Doumen District in 2007. In January this year ground was broken there for a massive polymer lithium-ion battery intelligent manufacturing project on Xianghai Road in Xinqing Science & Technology Industrial Park.
