Huafa industry 5.0 space projects begin full operation
Four industry 5.0 space projects by Huafa Group in Zhuhai's Jinwan and the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Tangjiawan) began operations on Jan 5.
All vacancies in the project sites, totaling 1.62 million square meters (400 acres), have been fully booked through advanced investment attraction. Final touches such as outdoor pipelines, gardening, and road clean-up in Zhuhai West Station Electronic Information Park are near completion, and the factories have completed interior installation and will proceed with further decoration.
Supporting facilities such as dormitories, canteens, industrial service centers, fitness spaces, and laundry rooms have also been built.

Both Pingsha Electronics Industrial Park and Zhuhai West Station Electronic Information Park offer green energy alternatives and discounted electricity costs due to the installation of photovoltaic power generation facilities.
The two Jinwan parks have now signed contracts with 94 projects with total investment of 13.36 billion yuan ($1.95 billion) and estimated output value of 31.69 billion yuan ($4.62 billion). They cover areas of new generation information technology, intelligent equipment manufacturing, integrated circuits, new energy, and "smart" home appliances.
Zhuhai Technician College has also signed a contract to settle in Jinwan to train more talents for industrial development.
In the meantime, Huafa Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park and the D Zone of Zhuhai Greater Bay Area (GBA) Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Tangjiawan provide over 620,000 sqm (153 acres) of high-quality industrial space.
The first floors of the factories in these parks are 10 m (33 fts) high and are able to meet up with the production demands of future technology industries. One-stop living service facilities such as apartments, supermarkets, restaurants, indoor gyms, and outdoor basketball courts are also available.
The two parks have now inked deals with 86 projects with expected investment of 6.29 billion yuan ($918 million) and total annual output value of 18.04 billion yuan ($2.63 billion).
The 800,000-sqm (198-acre) Huafa Scientific Innovation Industrial Park in the Hi-Tech Zone has renovated its facilities according to the standards of industrial 5.0 space projects. It has signed contracts with 187 enterprises with total investment of 3.2 billion yuan ($467.1 million). Over 70 percent of these enterprises are small and medium-sized sci-tech enterprises or companies under incubation.
The Zhuhai Huafa Group finished construction of the main structures of its 1.62-million-sqm (400-acre) industry 5.0 space projects across the city on Dec 20, gearing up to begin operation on Dec 31.
