The Huangmao Sea Channel project has five main towers on two major bridges. One of the said bridges is the 2,200-meter (1.4-mile) Huangmao Sea Channel Bridge, which is the world's largest three-tower cable-stayed bridge in terms of span.

The three recently-capped towers all have a height of 254.7 m (836 ft), which is equal to the height of an 85-story building.

Aiming to meet requirements in both structural force and stability, the five towers have the same dynamic design with a curved structure.

As of now, only one of the five towers is not yet capped and is expected to finish main structure construction before May, preparing for the project's operation in 2024.

The Huangmao Sea Channel is a key passage for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to connect western Guangdong. It will serve as a western extension of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge along with the Hezhou-Gaolan Port Expressway and connect Zhuhai's Pingsha Town and Taishan's Doushan Town in Jiangmen with a designed speed limit of 100 kmph (62 mph).
